Security Document World – or SDW18 – was held in London in June 2018. This event was all about technology around document security.

Many different technologies are used for securing documents, including inkjet printing. Our Samba technology is ideal for security applications for the following reasons:

• Possibility for small print or small data matrix codes due to the high print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi.
• Many ink types are possible due to the piezo principle in combination with the internal ink recirculation (RediJet).

For security applications special inks such as UV, fluorescent or MICR become increasingly important and the Samba print module has been prepared for this.

For DJM it was important to be present and speak to many of our current and future relations. We have gained many new ideas about which we will be able to provide more information soon.
