DJM at DRUPA'24
DJM collaborates with Plasmatreat and demonstrates a late-stage versioning application of folding carton at DRUPA
To optimize the supply chain, many companies are switching to demand-driven production and producing exactly what they need. This requires a completely different approach to production where digital printing must be implemented.
During DRUPA, a late-stage versioning application of folding carton will be demonstrated on the Plasmatreat stand, Stand A32 in Hall 11. The boxes - already provided with a pre-print and UV varnish - must then be printed and glued.
This is normally done in an automated finishing machine. For optimal adhesion of the glue and ink, they are pre-treated with an open-air plasma unit from Plasmatreat and are then printed with the DJM Ultra UV printing system. For an optimized process, both systems can be integrated into the finishing machine.
Eureka launch
The launch of the completely new EUREKA printing system will also take place during DRUPA. This printing system sets new standards in inkjet and integration.
